Dr Oyinlola has expertise in designing and developing low cost building integrated energy systems. As part of a European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) project, he worked on modelling the energy scenario for achieving self-sufficiency, in a neighbourhood of Valencia, through a mix of different renewable energy technologies. More recently, Muyiwa investigated how sustainable thermal energy technologies can improve demand side management in a Brazillian rural settlement. He has experience in solar energy systems, thermal comfort and energy storage. He will coordinate the project and be responsible for the energy component of the building.

PhD Heat Transfer in Solar Absorber Plates with Micro-Channels, University of Warwick

MSc Renewable Energy Engineering, Kingston University

BEng Mechanical Engineering, Ahmadu Bello Univeristy
